Meet the team and find out why our athletes choose KAGED MUSCLE®
A world-renowned powerlifter, Jesse holds multiple world records in his 198-lb weight class, including the world record of 2,033 lb total lifted between the squat (766 lb), bench press (441 lb), and deadlift (826 lb). A lifelong athlete who began training seriously with weights in eighth grade, Jesse also competes in Strongman and bodybuilding contests.
When he’s not breaking world records, Jesse is hanging out with his best friend, Leo, an Argentinian mastiff, who keeps the champion powerlifter grounded. “Leo keeps me accountable in getting things done,” says Jesse. An avid outdoorsman, the Idaho native enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and shooting. He also relaxes by working on cars and trucks in his spare time.
To maintain his competitive advantage, Jesse continues to set new goals to challenge himself. “No matter what I'm doing, I always strive to be the best I can be,” he says. With Leo at his side, Jesse Norris’s commitment to excellence should keep him in the elite powerlifting ranks for years to come.

Powerlifters don’t have the usual mass and cutting periods during their training cycles, but Jesse still tries to maintain a balanced physique with his dieting program. Says Jesse: “I do intermittent fasting, with an emphasis on high protein, moderate carbs, and low fats.”
Training is straightforward for a powerlifter, but Jesse pays more attention to maintaining a bodybuilding-type muscular physique than many in his sport. “As a powerlifter I focus on the main three lifts, the squat, bench, and deadlift. However, I split my days between with an emphasis on hypertrophy or conditioning exercises to help me keep the lean physique I strive for.”
