Why did you decide to do the 8-Week Hardcore Trainer? What was that aha moment?

The aha moment was the moment when I realized that depression was creeping in. A few months before the release of the trainer, I injured my back and I used that as an excuse to slack off.

The consequences were too high to be ignored—in a very short period of time I gained a lot of heartaches and lost a lot of confidence.

Why did you choose Kris’ 8-Week Hardcore Trainer over other programs?

I have been following Kris since 2011… his programs are the ones that I always come back to—it’s in my blood.

What Kaged Muscle supplements did you take while doing this trainer?

I mainly used the stack, PRE-KAGED, IN-KAGED and RE-KAGED, and I would complement that with Kasein.

Which Kaged Muscle supplements that you used in the program were your favorites and why?

My most favorite supplement is PRE-KAGED. I train at 3 a.m. each morning and PRE-KAGED keeps me going throughout the day, not only during my training session, plus it gives me a good mood.

Can you provide us with a 1-day sample of the diet you personally followed?

I have been seriously training since January 2015. My work schedule is absolutely hectic therefore, my diet must be easy. Pretty much I ate the same things every day adjusted to my recommended macros:

Breakfast: Oat bran with a scoop of protein followed by PRE-KAGED.

Training with IN-KAGED followed by RE-KAGED.

Lunch: Sweet potatoes with turkey breast.

Dinner: Spinach salad, turkey breast, and broccoli or Brussels sprouts.

Before going to sleep I’d have Kasein

What is the best piece of advice Kris provided you with during the 8-Week Hardcore Trainer program?

Maybe not advice but a statement: Trust the process—there is logic to this madness!

What aspects of the trainer challenged you most?

Cardio twice a day accompanied by my lack of sleep (4–5 hours a night).

What is your advice for others wanting to do this program?

As Kris stated - trust the process, make small, achievable goals, take it day by day, and don’t overthink it!

What are the top three gym music tracks you listened to most during the trainer?

I usually listen to whatever tickles my ears from SpongeBob to heavy metal.

What tactics helped you overcome roadblocks in regard to family, social gatherings, diet, workout, and career during this trainer?

Social gatherings are not an issue in general since my time is very limited. My family knew that I was going through an 8-week training program and they respected that.

Regarding the diet, I made sure I had all my food prepared in advance. I would prepare my gym attire and my supps the night before and I would just hit the road.

The KM Facebook group was also a huge help, and I think whoever is going through such a brutal program should use all the help there is. I used to post all my struggles and all my achievements every day, and doing that made me accountable.

Have you done any other Kaged Muscle Trainers, either Kris Gethin’s or other athletes’? If so, which ones?

Besides HCT I have done some of them a few times such as
